Children's Medical Center of Dallas 2010

DALLAS, TX – June 3, 2010 – Tomas Scheckter, who will drive the # 24 Dreyer & Reinbold Racing Honda/Dallara in the Firestone 550K at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 5 made his first Racing For Kids visit today at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.


 


Julie Adams, who is a Child Life Specialist in the center’s emergency room wrote us:


“The patients and families were so excited to see the car and Tomas!  We kept him busy visiting in patient rooms, as well as lots of photos and autographs.”


 

Tomas, himself, was so impressed with the courage of the young patients he visited that he asked the hospital for a list of their names and promised to carry the names with him in his car and race for them on Saturday.  Thank you and good luck, Tomas!
