Racing For Kids has updated www.racingforkids.org by adding the capability to make secure credit card donations.  Simply click on the “Donate” tab in the middle of the website’s banner and follow the simple directions.  An e-mail providing the donation details will be sent to the donor immediately after the transaction is complete.  This e-mail may be used for tax deduction purposes.   

Now in its 21st year, Racing For Kids takes celebrity racers to visit children in children's hospitals. These drivers have spent time with more than 22,000 sick childen in 450 children's hospitals in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan & Australia. This year's programs begins Thursday, March 25 at All Children's Hosptial in St.Petersburg, FL prior to the start of activities at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.  

Racing For Kids has also raised more than $5.2 million for the hospitals visited and other child health organizations and causes. These funds are directed to playroom development or other specified needs such as pediatriac cardiology or cancer research.
