IZOD IndyCar® Series driver Justin Wilson to visit patients April 8 at Children’s Hospital of Alabama

Racing For Kids® sponsors Birmingham appearance by popular Indy driver


 


What:   IZOD IndyCar® Series driver and Racing For Kids representative Justin Wilson will visit youngsters at Children’s Hospital of Alabama leading up to the Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park on April 11.  Wilson will drive the #22 car for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing in Sunday’s race.


 


Wilson, who came in second in the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 28 and is in second place in the IZOD IndyCar series championship, will visit children in the hospital and spend time with youngsters at the Racing For Kids Showcar.  Afterwards he will make bedside visits to hand out Racing For Kids caps, sign autographs, pose for photos and talk about his passion for racing.


 


Accompanying Wilson will be Indy Lights driver Charlie Kimball, who drives for AFS Racing/Andretti Autosport.
