RFK, ANDRETTI GREEN RACING WORK TO BENEFIT ST. PETE'S ALL CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

Racing For Kids partnering with Andretti Green Racing in support of St. Petersburg's (FL)  All Children's Hospital had an active and fun filled weekend during the Honda Grand Prix of St .Petersburg.

Thursday, April 3, Racing For Kids made its fourth stop in four years at St. Petersburg's All Children's Hospital. Spending time with the young patients were racers, Hideki Mutoh, who drives for Andretti Green Racing in the Indy Car Series, and Patrick Long, who competes in the ALMS Series for Penske Racing. The two young drivers spent time with 100 patients and their siblings, talking about racing, signing autographs and handing out Racing For Kids caps and coloring books.

Friday a group of 20 hospital patients, their siblings and parents were the guests of Andretti Green Racing and Racing For Kids for a "Day At The Track." Touring the paddock, the group watched teams preparing their race cars for practice and qualifying. The group then enjoyed lunch in the Mahaffey Theater provided by Catering by SMG . Mutoh and drivers Townsend Bell, of Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, and Raphael Matos, also of Andretti Green Racing, spent time with the group signing autographs and posing for pictures.



Working with the group was Haley Stamm from All Children's Hospital.


 


It was the second year Andretti Green Racing, which promotes the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, has partnered with Racing For Kids. 


Said one Mom as "The Day At The Track" ended: "This day couldn't have been better. I hope we can come next year"
