During the festivities a silent auction was held for a racing helmet autographed by TranSystems sponsored Izod IndyCar Series drivers Mike Conway and Justin Wilson. At the end of the bidding TranSystems’ Gordon Fulton was the proud owner of the helmet. The remaining guests did not walk away empty-handed. Door prizes included putters, drivers, golf balls, and other golf equipment.

The evening began with each attendee relating their favorite racing story and was followed by a presentation by Dr. Pinsky regarding Racing For Kids’ mission. Next, the drivers and team owners answered questions from the guests and provided insight into the strategy for the race the next day. As guests enjoyed the conversation and Italian dining, a second silent auction was held for another autographed helmet. This time the winning bid went to James Lambert, Design and Construction Manager for Million Air, the nation’s premier provider of upscale, private aviation services.
On Sunday TranSystems representatives and guests spent the day at the Grand Prix. It was a successful day with Wilson and Conway finishing 2nd and 10th respectively.
